Monte do Lago - Agro Tourism & Vineyard Resort is a rural tourism resort, located between the towns of Canha and Pegões, approximately 75 km from Lisbon and 40 km from the cities of Setúbal, Montijo and Montemor-o-Novo. In the 80 hectares of the property, it is possible to observe 30 hectares of meadows and cork oak forests, olive groves and orchards, as well as 50 hectares of vineyards used for the production of Malo Wines, which are for sale in our wine store.

Guests can go hiking along the property's trails or use the bicycles we have at their disposal. You can enjoy the grass football field, trampoline, and volleyball, as well as canoe trips on our lake and experience the harvest activity, between the months of August and October.
Our lake with its wildlife, turtles, fish, ducks, storks, herons and several other species of birds, is one of the great attractions of our Resort.

The property has both an outdoor biological pool and an indoor pool with heated water. The temperature of the indoor pool reaches 33 degrees in winter, which makes it a great attraction in the colder months!

At Monte do Lago, several animals can be seen: the Serra da Estrela Gugu, the Golden Retriever Jimba, the Cão de Gado Transmontano Alex, the Rafeiro Alentejano Bengo, the lama Jorge, the mare Granada, the donkeys Tocha, Peppa, Star and Mercedes, ostriches, albino fallow deer, Vietnamese pigs, peacocks, sheep, and many others. We are pet-friendly so we will be happy to also accommodate your dog or cat for a small supplement. Just let us know when making your reservation.

In our restaurant we serve our Continental Buffet breakfast and traditional homemade lunches or dinners, subject to reservation in advance.

Monte do Lago is also an unparalleled setting for weddings, baptisms, birthdays, private parties or simply family or group lunches/dinners.

We provide an environment of incredible natural beauty, healthy, relaxing, spectacular for families with children or for those who simply want to rest, away from the hustle and bustle of the city. In addition, visits to fruit production greenhouses, dairy farms, high-quality wine cellars with explanations of the various wines and wine tasting can be organized (by appointment).
